The build-out for this medical practice provided an opportunity to get creative as we expanded the space and reconfigured the exam areas with a whimsical aquatic experience for the patients.
 The orientation of the exam areas was of the utmost importance. Each “pod” contains a set of exam rooms, a dedicated nursing station and doctor dictation area. Each area is color coded for way-finding and incorporates “fun fact” signage providing information about the 3-D mounted sea creature unique to each “pod”. Custom inlaid rubber flooring was incorporated to add interest, acoustics and comfort, as well as lead you to specific areas for way-finding.  Custom built aquariums were incorporated throughout the lobby and near the check-out area.
